description of the soundqualities of a phoneme:
[diphtones, explosives, ...]
- check pdf nicolas
- check wikipedia
- check www.phonemes alphabet

change the pitch and amplitude of a voice:
- low frequency oscillator [LFO] mapping to modulate amplitude of synthesized voices
- a variety of rhythmic pulsation effects. timbre transformation, flanging, delay, chorus.
- granular synthesis
- phase vocoding
- bandpass filters

scaling of the variable parameters:
- HOT SPOT: offset =0 [see map] [normal spoken voice]
- every soundsource has its own hotspot, parameters are x=0, y=0, z=0 and text is pronounced in a normal way
- velocity = rate/duration/frequency [trager stappen is trager spreken, sneller stappen is sneller spreken]
- localisation xyz = pitch and pitchpoints
- orientation = amplitude [hoe meer gericht naar soundsource, hoe luider]

how relate all this to the 12 soundsources?
- system for 1 visitor, individual experience? -> 12xmaxmbrola realtime rendering X .. [x]visitors in space
- 4 visitors in space: all 12 soundsources same speech for every visitor, but heard in a different way --> how do localisation data of different visitors influence the generated speech??? [see map, try to draw it] [define a specific range around soundsources???] can we play here with unforeseen, immediate and strange changes in soundgeneration???
try to work with the aesthetics and characteristics of the machine/maxmbrola itself.
work with a meshed network of data? check specifics of crickets/ sukandar.

coding of the phonemes-lists:
- scripting in ??PHP??
- "take away all vowels" / "take away all A's" / "add an O after each dt-combination"
- research soundFX of mutilated sentences. is it interesting?
- stress the nonsensical / stress the sound and the rythm
- scripting of a controlled repetition [cfr. stein / beckett / buroughs]

making of the phonemes-lists:

data aquisition:
- crickets--> www.xbow [check data sheet]
- digital compass [check data sheet]
- motion tracking --> camera

traject of the visitors:
- is the traject related to a specific text?
- repetition of patterns? --> situationists
- allocate values to localisation xyz / orientation / velocity
- duration / pitch / pichtpoints / amplitude / timbre / rythm / tempo
- GO INTO EXTREMES / SUDDEN CHANGES ARE WELCOME / THINK OUT OF MACHINE AESTHETICS !!!
- rythmic patterns should be ormed by assemblages of modular parts [modular parts= phonemes or syllabes] -- compare it with the notes in a music score
- loudness/volume/amplitude [one sentence can be very loud and suddenly decrease in volume] [cfr. scores Cage very loud/quiet/ half loud/ ..]
- temporary increases of acoustic energy whitin 1 sentence [accents or pitchpoints]

texts and content:
The position of the person initiates a loop and at the same time a process of variation of this loop. Similar to the method of granular synthesis the position and the length of the time-frame resp. the loop are variable. Through this artistic strategy smooth transitions were created as well as new combinations of text-fragments and thus a new meaning.

spatialisation of the soundsources
- go into extra sound??? check with edo
- convolution soundhack impulses
- The varying text-loops will be spatially projected to 12 virtual loudspeakers. walks of people in space define the text-structure. The 12 voices [xx?? languages] are mixed to a common sound-space of comprehensible and non-comprehensible speech.

examples:
- John Cage: Voiceless / ghosts&monsters [leornardoMJ??]
- Maja Ratkje
- Alice in Wonderland cut up
